so. Hornitos “Reposado” is shite when heretofor you’ve been making your margaritas with Cazadores Reposado
when you grab a bottle of bourbon instead of the Cointreau, yes, Hornitos is shite. Probs anything would be. I still drank it though, and didn’t discover the crazy until I made the second margarita. ha ha dork!
UNMATCHED!
was supposed to spend the day reading in the sun but the weather did not comply. ended up doing errands, laundry, and cooking. NOW I get to be a slug and since it is evening cocktails are of course in order. however I’ve used up all my limes for margaritas, even using a little lemon juice because I was short on limes to begin with. Why did I purchase a lemon tree a few months back? Shoulda got a lime tree.
However I discovered that Arcade Fire is good as background-while-reading-and-drinking music. So yay, that $3.99 I spent on their album off their site was not wasted. heh.
really? huh.
“…Beyond that, Italy presents a cautionary tale for many immodestly privileged Western democracies that have been lulled by comfort into complacency; have let too much silliness create too much damage; and haven’t held leaders to adequate account.
Our is one of them. America is in some ways a petit guignol version of Italy. We also coast on the accomplishments of yesteryear. Also neglect our infrastructure. Also watch young people struggle. Also waste precious time while lawmakers behave in petty, self-serving fashions. Also let money corrupt politics.”
